Our team is always looking at ways to give our clients a better experience, and today we announce that we have put in place a plan to upgrade our entire hosting systems to use solid state drives (SSD) exclusively. SSD drives provide much faster throughput, meaning that latency will be reduced and performance maximized for our hosting clients.To implement this change, a significant maintenance window needs to be utilized. Our team needs to take down our servers and migrate all our client data to the new drives. For this purpose, we have scheduled a maintenance window that will start at 5PM Toronto/New York time on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2014. While everyone is hopefully taking the evening off, we will be taking our web hosting, mail and control panel servers down to upgrade them all. We expect this maintenance window to last about 24 hours, and hope to have everything back up and upgraded by the end of Christmas Day!
