As the Mac becomes more more and more popular, it becomes more of a target for hackers and other threats. That said, Windows is much more likely to be attacked, but as the saying goes – if you don’t have something to tell you your system is infected, how do you know? You won’t. So, it’s best to have an antivirus for your Mac for peace of mind, if nothing else.
Nerds On Site is vendor agnostic, so we will recommend the best antivirus solution on a per client basis, but we’re quite fond of NOD32, and the latest version of the Mac antivirus has hit the market.
