A UTM such as Untangle, Astaro or ClearOS will help to define and enforce an organization’s Acceptable Use Policy. Every business needs an Acceptable Use Policy, and your Nerd can help you define and create what that policy is. If your organization does not have an Acceptable Use Policy, you have an opportunity to help develop one, and install UTM device with an ongoing subscription to make sure that the Acceptable Use Policy is implemented and enforced. Nerds On Site CEO Charlie Regan made this point very firmly during NerdTech Weekend.
