Why You Shouldn’t Solely Rely on Web-based email

Hundreds of millions of people rely on web-based services like Hotmail, Yahoo, and Gmail for their email needs. So far this year, both Hotmail and GMail have experienced problems that resulted in lost email and settings being reset. Both companies apologized for the “glitches”, but that doesn’t negate the fact that hundreds of thousands of people lost their email.

Just spent the evening (Feb 1o/2011) with James Keenleyside-Richter at a Sarnia Sting Vs. London Knights hockey game here in Sarnia. James negotiated a table just inside the main entrance where we were able to set up shop and sing the praises of nerding and NerdsBackup to the people of Sarnia as they arrived to watch some hockey.
